Nicole Amsler, DVM

I was born and raised in Germany until the age of 9. I attended Purdue University and obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in Animal Science and completed my DVM in 2010. I have been a general practitioner for small animals in the Chicagoland area and Northern and Central Indiana for the past 14 years.

As an experienced veterinarian with more than 14 years of experience, my primary emphasis is on delivering compassionate end-of-life assistance for beloved pets in their final moments.

In my years of practice, there as always been a demand for at-home euthanasia that unfortunately many vet clinics and hospitals are unable to provide. This inspired me to start Weeping Willow Veterinary Euthanasia, to allow pets to have the option of a peaceful and compassionate passing in the comfort of their home close to their owners and families without the added stress of traveling to the veterinary office.

My family and I reside in rural Carroll County. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and traveling.  We have two Golden Retrievers, three cats, and 5 goats.
